Took a leisurely ride on a river catamaran from the Eye to Greenwich, home of Greenwich Mean Time. Hiked up to the observatory through a really nice park and put one foot in the east and one foot in the west at the top. This is the 0 meridian. At 1pm, we watched the red time ball drop which was kinda like watching the ball drop in Times Square but with way less fanfare. In the 1800’s any ships that could see the ball used it to set their chronometers on their ships.
After the observatory we headed down the hill and came upon the the Greenwich market. As you can see, Eduardo found the churro stand.

That churros looks good 🙂 I love Greenwich. Did you walk passed the Glouchester pub? – I used to go there every Sunday evening for a drink.
Great pics and commentary btw SM. You'll be the next Rick Steves before you know it. Can't wait to see what you have to say about Paris.
Say goodbye to London for me. It is a great city for sure. Hope you enjoyed it.
