The last stop on the tour was a walk to another church and an amazing view of the caldera. From here we could see our ship along with the 3 others in town that day.
Left on our own and still 6 hours before we had to board the ship again, we meandered our way through the narrow streets of Fira. It’s a pretty touristy area but the views of the architecture and water are amazing around every corner. Lots of small restaurants with amazing views, jewelry shops, and your usual postcard-tshirt-fridge magnet stores lined the rough cobblestone streets.
