After the museum, we crossed the street to check out a store called “Century 21”. It’s basically a Winner’s on steroids. Next, we had some lunch at a nearby sushi place…the consensus was that it was “just ok”. Vancouver sushi is much better.
Next, we hopped back on the train towards the Metropolitan Museum, “The Met”. Our intention was to visit the rooftop restaurant for a free view of the city but due to the extreme heat that day, the rooftop was closed. Luckily, Central Park was directly behind the museum.
En route to the part entrance, Eduardo couldn’t help himself and had to have a photo with a snake. The guy had 2 snakes with him, the one you see below and one that looks like it could be from that Britney Spears video.

It was getting increasingly more hot as the hours went on, so we basically headed for every shady spot we could find in the park. We spent more time resting than anything else and came up with the game plan to walk the Brooklyn Bridge. The photos below are what we passed on our way out of the park.
