After the Aladdin show, it was almost 4pm. We made a plan, found the subway and we headed toward Chinatown. About halfway there, I noticed that the end of this particular subway line was Coney Island. Neither of us had been here before, so we skipped Chinatown and went to the end of the line. About 50 minutes later, we arrived. And just like yesterday when we walked the Brooklyn Bridge in the middle of the scorching sun, we were about to do it again!
Coney Island has a full time amusement park set up, along with the New York Aquarium, a boardwalk and beach. At this point it was 37 degrees so we did a lot of hiding in the shadows as much as we could because there wasn’t any air conditioning around. The boardwalk had a few restaurants so we stopped and had a slice of pizza and some water to cool down.

While walking down the boardwalk, we can across a group of people filming, what we think was a music video. Eduardo had to get his photo with the ladies!

Further down, we passed a food truck with a Colombian flag flying. We didn’t stop for the food though, since we had just eaten the pizza.

One section of the boardwalk reached from the beach. It was a great place to get a couple photos of the beach and how busy it was. The flag flying in the photo is for Puerto Rico as there was Puerto Rican street band playing right there.
